The Island Café is one of only two places to eat out on the beautiful yet remote Isle of Coll. This cosy little restaurant is situated at the Shore Street in the small village of Arinagour. They got quite a few vegetarian dishes on their menu some of which are vegan or can be made vegan. Simply ask the friendly and helpful staff about vegan choices or – even better - contact them in advance to avoid disappointment (During the Summer months booking is advised for evenings anyway). We went there twice - once for a small lunch and once for dinner. The food was nice and tasty both times.
Next to the café is T.E.S.Co.(The Ethical Sales Co), an organic produce shop offering soy milk, rice dream, houmous etc.

Wednesday - Saturday: 11:00 till 14:00, 17:00 till 21:00
Sunday: 12:00 till 18:00
