Vega Fair Food ist der Nachfolger des bis 2009 bestehenden veg. Restaurants "Vegeta". Die Speisen sind normalerweise vegan. Ab und zu verirrt sich jedoch z.b. auch ein Tsatziki mit Kuhmilch ins Buffet. Sollte dann aber entspechend gekennzeichnet sein. Eier werden grundsaetzlich nicht verwendet. Das Konzept ist auf Selbstbedienung ausgerichtet. Angebote wie ein All-You-Can-Eat (Spis så mye dere vil) am reichhaltigen Buffet fuer 99 Nok (ca. 10 Euro) sind fuer norwegische Verhaeltnisse extrem guenstig.
Darueber hinaus werden immer auch viele glutenfreie Speisen angeboten.

Vega Fair food is a concept that seeks to provide food and beverages made in a fair way. By fair food we mean food that is fair to the environment, our fellow inhabitants of the earth (both animal and human), your own body, your mind and your soul. Still, food is more than just getting energy and vitamins, its also about satisfying the senses, and this is our main focus at Vega. Our food is made to rock the senses, and to make it an easy choice to go fair and take care of yourself and the environment.

Das Buffet ist wirklich super! Selbst die Salate waren klasse (und das sagt ein alter Salat-Hasser wie ich). Bis auf eine Ausnahme war alles vegan, die Kennzeichnung war einwandfrei. Besonders hervorzuheben ist noch das Prei-Leistungsverhältnis, das ist nämlich für osloer Verhältnisse wirklich einmalig günstig.
